Why we built it
It started with photos nobody could find.
Capture Log came from two problems we kept seeing at distributors: activation photos with no home, and shelf prices nobody could compare.
Activation photos lived in camera rolls
Field teams took photos of every activation to show the work was done. Those photos sat between personal pictures, and finding last month's for one brand meant scrolling. They wanted them out of their phones and kept by brand.
Shelf prices were hard to see
Managers wanted to know what products were selling for in the market, and how that compared from one place to the next. The prices were out there, but nobody had them in one view.
Tested with our own teams first.
Before opening it up, we ran Capture Log internally to work out what holds up in the market. The review, feedback, and handover steps were designed around what we learned.
- 01
Capture first, sort later
One tap in the market. The brand, place, and time are attached so nobody files anything by hand.
- 02
Review before it counts
Managers look over what came in, give feedback, and decide what makes it into the report.
- 03
Release when it is finished
A finished period goes out as one release, to your own team or to the manufacturers you work with.
